Worship

Our church is committed to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth. We do this through weekly worship services and individual worship throughout the week.

Discipleship

We come to better know our Lord by studying the Word and by serving in His name. We have Sunday School for all age groups to study the Word at an age-appropriate level. We do periodic discipleship studies that help us to become better disciples of Christ. We also have Wednesday night Bible studies, along with a prayer group, that help us to grow in our walk with Christ.

Fellowship

We believe that God has called the Church to be one body—a community. We do everything we can to make everyone, of all ages, feel at home at FBC Van Vleck. Acts 2 shows us that fellowship is a crucial part of ministry. Our goal is to be a united body focused on community.

Evangalism

Our church is committed to reaching Matagorda County for Christ. We believe in personal evangelism by living a Christ-centered life and telling our friends and neighbors of Christ’s Love, Mercy, and Grace. We also have regular training in how to share the Gospel and we hold periodic evangelistic events in the community.

Ministry

We believe that every believer has a personal ministry for the Lord and the Church serves as a place to coordinate and better equip people for their personal ministries.
